If 2021 was the year NFTs first burst into the public consciousness, 2022 was the year of exploration as new projects and uses emerged to test how transformative the technology could be. Mintify - NFT Terminal for Traders (FREE until end of Dec 2022) 

In this review, I want to mention about one of the failed project called Mighty Hercules. This project is curated by Emre Yusufi who is really well known in Turkey even internationally. Very successful sculpture artist with style of Greek Gods with artistic and futuristic touches. NFT collection is also in the same style. I loved the art and since Emre Yusufi was launching the project, I got in without even thinking in wider range. Moreover, they had collabs with Lipton and Adidas. 

However, their project was a real failure. In my opinion, they lack experience or experienced advisors. Price was a bit high (0.15E) with 10000 collection. They didnt have enough moderators and community management. We didnt even get the OS link before minting. In conclusion, they sold only 350 tokens and left the minting process open for 3 months!! Moreover, they havent announced anything other than "we are working on new things". They closed the minting 15 days ago. Discord is dead. Holders lost faith. So project was a long dead.

Feedback on how they could improve:
In my opinion, art and founders are amazing. However, they should've lowered the mint price like 0.08ish and hired more community managers and moderators. They needed to support their current holders and collab with other projects to increase the floor price for their current minted amount.

Failed project - Mighty Hercules

GosuTools is a open to public blockchain analytical platform and toolkit focused on delivering premium functionality.

Many alpha's called it early and they are in still development. It is being developed by big success project called Llamaverse and many other successful web3 teams. 

It is worth checking out imo!

New tool 'Gosu Tools' by Llamaverse

I’m sure you remember Tamagotchi if you were kid at 90s. These guys brought back the nostalgia over NFTs. Their roadmap is promising as they will launch mobile AR app to take care of your Tamagotchi. You can level up and get Gen.2 egg to be hatched. However, how you treat your Tamagotchi affects its traits and hatchling. 

It was a collection of 4444 and cost 0.037ETH. However, they haven’t sold out and left with 700 tokens. After mint, in courtesy of their supporters they had reveal event where you could get x2 the number of tokens you hold. I had two, now I have 4. Their fp dumped to 0.015ish atm.

Even tho mint process wasn’t a big success (minting was smooth, I am talking about not sold out), they held supportive actions to their holders and keep on doing so. They still follow their promises in the roadmap and take positive actions all through the process. In my opinion, they will do great in time.

Remember our Virtual BFFs called ''Tamagotchi'' from the 90s?

In 2021, the Lions attracted attention through a massive hype in connection with well-know influencers and athletes. This ensured rapid growth.
In addition, active members of the community were rewarded through ROARwards - by the way, the system stills exists today.

The Lions caught my eye because of several points.
As already mentioned, they consistently deliver something to their community. An innovative idea are the Bungalows in September 2021, which can be used as profile banner.
What is innovative about this is that a holder of a Bungalow can also integrate other NFTs into the Bungalow via a dApp. So you can have several NFTs in your banner.

The collectibles were also interesting. Every active Discord member who invites another person to their Discord, receives a collectible - just like the invited person.

2022 is dominated by partnerships, especially in Q1, for example with Puma. Wild animals can also like each other. 😊 

The then coming Lions Cubs did not generate the planned amount of NFTs, but again added value and found new members for the Lions ecosystem.

By the way, the latest news of the Lions is that their just released merch is already sold out.

Lazy Lions – the roaring NFT ecosystem

As a martial arts enthusiast, this project caught my eye last March. Buakaw is a Muay Thai legend.
I didn't get into it, I'll tell you the reasons why.

The collection was announced with 10K, on OpenSea it has only 2K left. According to the website, they are sold out. So the rest must have been burned. From the mint price in the range of 0.6-0.9 eth, the floor price has dropped to 0.03 eth.

The roadmap shows some red flags.
Parts of the roadmap are spread over three places on the actually nice website: a timeline, a graphic and the FAQ. No clear line.

After the mint there should be drops for special exclusive VIP / Limited / Super VIP giveaways.  Details available - not really.

In the FAQ it says that one or more holder can visit Buakaw privately including training. It doesn't say how many people are allowed and if travel expenses will be covered.

Of course there is also a Metaverse announced, as it was mostly the case at that time with rug pulls. Details are missing.

There are a few more points, but to finish the roadmap this one: 
The strength of the club that a buyer joins is that Buakaw is a successful fighter and that the company behind it is well positioned - according to the website. 
Very convincing.

Safary is an application-based community of web3 growth leaders and recently onboarded the 4th batch of members. There are about 300+ people from 200+ companies and it's a community I am quite proud to be a part of. 

If you're looking to connect, engage and learn with other growth leaders, run ideas by each other, find out about cool ideas, etc. it's really the right place to be. I appreciate the consistent work leadership team is putting in across the board, and perhaps the best part is the panel format weekly calls where a specific topic is covered by experts. I love being able to reach such talented and experienced people when I need a hand or a different perspective on something I'm working on.

Water coolers and workshops to get to know members better & do real-time exercises. And potentially more content on what web3 growth is.

A club for web3 growth leaders

LooksRare is an NFT trading platform that went live on January 10, 2022.. They airdropped a bunch of tokens to NFT traders with amounts based on their previous wallet activity.. Airdrop $ value at the time of launch was quite substantial for active traders in the space, I personally got a $10k+ worth airdrop for one of my wallets which was a great introduction to the platform.

They introduced a staking mechanism where everyone with $LOOKS tokens could stake to get a portion of their trading fees which are 0.5% lower than their biggest competition, OpenSea... They set a goal to dethrone their biggest competitor OpenSea which recorded an all time high trading volume of $5billion in January, 2022 ($125mil from trading fees) right before the market was hit with the super cold bear season.. 

LooksRare team took a different angle to earning revenues by reserving a portion of the $LOOKS tokens for themselves, and they staked the tokens to earn a portion of the trading fees just like individual traders which they airdropped tokens to... 

I personally thought it was a very cool angle and after trading my airdropped $LOOKS tokens during high volume times, I bought some as the token price dropped and still have a substantial amount staked earning me minimal returns from trading fees during these very cold crypto winter days..

I'm personally bullish on LR as they are open to feedback from the web3 community and are fast to implement updates/changes to their platform. I think they have a great chance at taking a chunk of the OS trading volume especially when the next bull run for NFTs is here, so I'm quite bullish on the platform and their token $LOOKS.

Feedback on how they could improve:

I think they could improve by not just marketing their platform but taking a different angle to market and introduce NFTs to the masses to increase the NFT trading volume in general.. as I think they could be easily superior to their biggest rival OpenSea after a few more updates to their platform especially since OpenSea basically never updates their platform and are not favored by the web3 community due to their lack of communication and support. 

Up and Coming NFT Marketplace

I came across Rethinkable while trying to get into and understand too many projects in order to both get to know web3 and improve myself by doing research. This review is not a long-term use review. However, I think I will spend time in this community for a long time.

Rethinkable is a web3 job postings publisher. It serves both job seekers and employee seekers free of charge. There are many web3 companies that do this job. In my opinion, I will share a few details that make Rethinkable different and worth examining.

Rethinkable works actively and regularly both on the discord channel and on Twitter. Especially the discord channel formations are very regular and understandable. I think the first priority for people like me who are trying to learn web3 is to understand it. Sometimes it's not even a good idea not to get lost between the pages. In addition to an accessible discord channel that novices can easily use, there are also very understandable websites. https://rethinkable.xyz/

A bot application I discovered while browsing the website made you read this article right now.
If this bot is one, it can be defined as a learning bot. The bot can be used by communities, projects and individuals. All these users are connecting to each other via discord. In other words, applications made through the bot setup provide a fast and efficient recruitment experience by criticizing job seekers and projects. It bot connects web3 projects, communities and individuals, creating a vast and cohesive network. I called it a win-win.

It is also possible to earn RET tokens with referrals. When you review your CV and recommend people to projects, or vice versa, when you recommend projects to individuals, you earn RET tokens for successful matches. We do not have any information about the amount yet.

Feedback: I think you understand that I have very positive ideas about the project 😇
However, as a novice and a web3 enthusiast who needs to be trained, I'm looking for color on a discord server I'm on. Frankly, I looked for a channel in the chat channel where they get to know each other and have a fun flow. I think every job deserves fun. In a community where you have fun, you will be much more loyal and active.

Illogics started out as a free mint and they let minters get 2 each.. you can stake your illogics nft to earn their utility token and then use your tokens to claim whitelists from their marketplace.. I like this project because as far as I know they were one of the first to come up with the concept of staking your nfts to use the tokens in a whitelist marketplace. Long time after minting, and even during the bear they are able to hold some sort of floor price value which shows me they were able to build a strong community.

First WL Marketplace NFT Collection

I got an app pass through Meta Angels, downloaded and test the app this morning and love how it simplifies tracking my portfolio (which I haven't checked in months! 😅) 

Downloading the app was a little challenging since it has to happen through Test Flight app, but not too bad. Got through after several attempts - might be unique to me, not sure. 

Great UI, easy to use and I'm sure the team will add more features in time. Currently you can track your NFT portfolio (through floor prices), add multiple wallets, watch collections and set gas price alerts. 

The app is currently in beta test phase and team is collecting feedback.

Here are some of the additional features I'd like to see which I shared with the floor team too: 
1) seeing my overall portfolio including the crypto i have in the wallet - seeing it in one spot as one number but i understand floor is not a wallet app
2) setting alerts for when a floor price reaches my target

Floor Price Tracker

Blur is a new NFT marketplace and they are currently charging 0% service fees. Their website works pretty well for sweeping but the UI is kind of complicated for anyone not familiar with NFT aggregation tools.

Better than Opensea?

SURGE helped me to close dozens of tabs I opened while researching several Web3 companies.

During my review, I skimmed through many articles, it certainly helped me spend the day productively. SURGE describes itself as:
Surge is an organization creating mid-level educational solutions for Web3 builders. 

Although I am against sexism, the feminist in me makes me feel more affinity with women's organizations.
When you enter the project's website, the following statement greets you: "Educating women and newcomers in Web3" https://www.surgewomen.io/ Maybe not interesting for some. However, simple and clear slogans always attract me more.
   
As can be understood from its slogan and description, it is an education company. There are dozens of opportunities such as their own newsletters, consultants, employment system, investment opportunities, advertising opportunities.

Each link to the site takes you to a different topic of the Web3 world that you can understand. Each explanation is tied together in very simple and understandable sentences.

For example, the first challenge for people who want to learn web3 is the hard-to-understand terms. There are many different words for Nft and for crypto exchange. Such as GM, GN, APE IN, DYOR, DEFi.... SURGE uses a link that separates it from the article, with a reminder about learning these terms first when starting out about web3. 

Actually, a very simple little link made me follow the community's twitter (https://twitter.com/surge_women) page to its discord.
Because in my first learning attempts, I had a hard time trying to understand web3.
Speaking of Discord, the Project also has a very large, multi-channel, and active discord. Although correspondence is not very active, you can find a quick and sincere response to your greeting. You get quick responses to your questions.
I got a clean and positive energy when I joined the discord. There is a channel called Moms in crypto. Mother's speeches. Don't you think it's very nice?

The project has an NFT collection. The 5k piece Surge Women Passport is a beautiful collection with artistic value.

Feedback: I had a hard time finding a link between the NFT collection and the Education bulletin.
In other words, what kind of privilege does it provide to have NFT within Surge, what does it gain? But then I realized that there is a separate website for nft. https://perks.surgewomen.io/

As someone who is curious about this subject, I can only say this: If a clear explanation for nft is made on the Twitter linked website, it will increase the sales value of nft.

Rugless Review 

I love a lot of things about the Meta Angels project, but something to highlight is how well they've brought together a community that want to stick together and continuously get value from being a member. 

They've implemented a concept called the Wishing Well as soon as their Discord was public and the only way to get 'goldlisted' was to either make a wish or make an offer in the relevant channels. Through this, people found meaningful connections and lots of wishes were fulfilled. - anything from finding jobs to keeping each other accountable to workout before 7am. This was a key piece that highlighted the values of being in the Meta Angels community and it is still ongoing and very active. 

Whenever I need a connection, have a question, want to learn a new skill, I feel like I could peep into the Meta Angels server first.

I always look at missions and visions in reviews. It's important for me. Layer3 explained its mission as follows:

Feedback : Although it is a very nice and sustainable system, as I mentioned in the introduction, it was very difficult to wonder about the platform and start researching.

When logging into the website, I think that instead of starting with the quests and reward system, it should start with the explanation. Or a self-explanatory thread on Twitter might work. This makes it easier for people new to web3 to understand.
There is a system on Discord that I haven't figured out yet. I would like a detailed explanation on this matter. A platform that currently has more than 100,000 followers. But if it's clearer, don't you think more people will come?
